Sagecrest Alzheimer’s Care Center

Baptist Retirement Community offers our certified Sagecrest Alzheimer's Care CenterAt Baptist Retirement Community, we know the many challenges facing families who are coping with memory-related impairments. It's why we offer the Sagecrest Alzheimer's care Center, our licensed certified Alzheimer's Nursing Community.

At Sagecrest, our goal is to offer residents a higher quality of life through a higher level of Memory Care. In a protected setting specifically designed to minimize confusion and enhance safety without sacrificing the comforts of home, our specially trained staff offers caring assistance with sensitivity and empathy.

Sagecrest is designed with residences that open into a central living area to encourage movement and socialization.

The basic room charge includes:

  • Room and meals
  • Laundered linens and bedding
  • Personal laundry
  • 24 hours a day nursing care that includes nurses, certified nurse aides and restorative aides
  • Transportation to scheduled physician appointments

Specialized Care

  • Staff trained in dementia care including validation and redirection
  • Higher staffing levels that result in more direct, hands-on care
  • Alzheimer's Resource Center with printed materials
  • Family support groups and educational videos
  • Quiet room for therapeutic intervention

Activities Programming

  • Activities based on personal history and past interests
  • Reminiscence therapy and pet therapy
  • Painting classes, exercise classes, arts & crafts, sing-a-longs
  • Homelike activities – baking cookies, planting flowers in raised beds, etc.
